I worked for this facility for a year before it was acquired, and a year since. I quickly advanced to management and was very satisfied in the position until the GM left and I played the role of both the GM and AM on my own for over six months. I had very low support and things have been difficult.

The ability to be yourself!
What makes you most happy at work?
The dogs! It feels like they are a part of my family.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership team needs to work on responsiveness to emails. They need to make their goals clear to managers while setting reasonable expectations.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is fun and very hard-working. They are passionate individuals that are free to express themselves and make working with them a blast.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am incredibly disappointed in how the end of the year bonuses were handled. Myself and another manager were not given bonuses at all while another manager that I work closely with was given over $1000. This makes me feel incredibly undervalued despite all that I provide to this company.
