It was very good. I was excited to cole to work everyday, but now its horrible having to be cordial to the people that talk badly behind your back and think you do jot know about it. Espcially latoia doing it. No general manager should be talking badly of others to other employees.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
This is my favorite job Ive ever had by far. The people, the dogs, and the environment is very special and something you cant find in a lot of places. It has its problems and it isn't perfect, it can even be taxing at times, but it has been a very worth-while experience.

The dogs and taking care of them

The dogs make me the happiest.

We all are like a very big extended family

Seeing my friends and my favorite dogs every day.

My team is a pretty close group. Everyone knows each other and I get along with pretty much everyone

The closeness of the workers and the fact that the number one priority is always the dogs in our care.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership team has helped me grow as an employee and individual and genuinely cares about me and what work we do for the dogs
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Latoia need to stop having nepotism towards their favorite employees. (Alyssa rankin, mercedes white, chelsy). They get to call out to go to the beach and get to stay hoirs after their shift taking our hours that we need.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think that I give everything I can do my job and to make the work environment better, but sometimes its hard to get through a pay period and what Im getting doesnt entirely feel equivalent to what I'm giving.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Favortism needs to be stopped. The negative talk beheind peopels back needs to stop espcially if the gerneral manager is the one doing it. Also latoia needs to stop threatubg to cuss out her staff and stop coming at us hostile.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We have 100's of digs that come in daily but we dont get to see any of that in a form of a raise. We barely make enought ti survive causing to have no work lofe balance. Having maternaity and patrrnal leave would be great since we barely make enough to survive.
