It has been a great first year and I have had several opportunities to contribute to initiatives that are important to the leadership in my team. However, a significant amount of my time was spent on mandatory training which wasn't directly relevant to my day to day responsibilities.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
That they take effort to connect in settings other than global company meetings.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Transparency about salaries. Clearer path to progression, promotions and what that looks like in terms of salary.
What makes you most happy at work?
Collaborative work, taking charge of and moving along initiatives that the leadership care about and those that I see career growth in as well.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most of the team prefer working on their own and have little interest in fostering a good working relationship with team members not in their time zone.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Open minded and flexible immediate management -at least in my team - I have a lot of freedom in how I deliver my work - as long as I deliver it.
