What makes you most happy at work?

Relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership team is typically open to new ideas and supportive of process improvement projects.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Tuition reimbursement is a very nice benefit for anyone wanting to continue their education.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Teams really work together well here, and mostly want to see each other succeed. The majority of job training at Loup is done by co-workers and team members, and everyone tries their best to help others that need it.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Employees are pretty supportive of each other and work together to meet goals. Most of the job-specific training is done by peers, and I think employees want to see each other succeed, and do what can be done to help each other.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

There could be more accountability for performance, employee development, culture & ethics at the leadership level. There is some excellent leadership at Loup, but there are also areas that could be better. The leadership team is a bit out of touch with the lower level workforce.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Adjusting to more of a matrix or flat org structure would be a big help. With the existing hierarchy structure, everyone who does the work and has job knowledge is at the bottom. It's hard to pinpoint what leadership team does to actually impact the business and add value.
