What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Generally negative. New ideas are not valued. Constructive criticism is not well received.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am working to better the company so that we can better serve our communities.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I was able to meet with a VP as well as directors and managers.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My team is micromanaged and are not encouraged to improve their skill set. We have a history of hiring people who do not ask questions and offer ideas. This hurts our ability to evolve.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have a professional job but I can't support my family. My experience, knowledge, attitude, and work ethic make me valuable and I should be compensated accordingly. I am looking elsewhere and have opportunity to make 20k more annually in a same/similar position with another company.
