I've said it a few times already, but I am always proud of how Proofpoint makes decisions with the wellbeing of their employees in mind. During the peak of the pandemic the CEO promised us that their would be no layoffs during that period. That made life SO MUCH easier knowing that my job was safe.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are treated as adults and the company treats us as human beings instead of numbers
What are some of the best things about your team?
I like that we can all separately do a great job of the job that we are tasked with and still can come together and enjoy something not work related.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I had a signing bonus that was paid out over the first four years of my employment here. That was paid in company stock. That kept me never thinking about another job through that whole period.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
It's rare to find a corporate employer who is there for their employees. Through sound financial decisions, our leadership team has been able to retain our workforce and provide security going forward in a time that is not so certain, as far as employment in the tech sector goes.
