I LOVE my job, my guests, my managers, everything about my job. it has built my confidence in myself & i enjoy it very much but it genuinely shows that the people at the top (above the district managers) do not care about us at all. its all about saving a dollar & making their bonuses rather than us
What did you like most about the interview process?
my GM and AGM both interviewed me together and they were both very kind and inviting.
What makes you most happy at work?
Running the bar. i take great pride in the bar and i love everything to do with it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
i believe as a shift lead there should be better health benefits. And I also think we should stop paying servers the bare minimum of $2.13 because that causes us to owe so much in taxes at the end of the year it is unreal. last year i owed over $2000.
