My manager is the best boss that I have ever had, and I was devastated to learn that we were closing the dining room for the unforeseeable future.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being able to feel confident that during this time, i will get full cooperation from Ruby Tuesday in gathering the necessary info required to apply for temp unemployment, so my family doesn't suffer.

I feel undervalued when I work 40 hours a week and do not get the respect I deserve. I get screamed at by mangers under stress , the co workers will not all do their jobs whichever causes the people who do their job have rocks pick up their slack.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Some managers need to be replaced.

Unfortunately, with the nature of this position(server assistant) being how it is with pay to workload/hours and interacting with guests on a day to day basis, it's not a career path for anyone, myself included, and thus without a pay rate increase, nothing can be done to truly improve the position.

Having managers who actually care and not having a GM that is a bigot. How difficult and how long it takes to just get a coupon put on a check is very frustrating.
