There's not really a great definition for a career path in my organization. And there's far too much "I'm telling you it's this way" to discourage people from trying something. I love the company, but it's really not a realistic work/life balance to keep.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like that people are encouraged to try new things, and are given a lot of autonomy.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to work with my direct team, collaborate and really feel like we hear each other and are working together.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I believe they're very transparent; every month when they get in front of us as a company to discuss progress, opinions and goals, they definitely seem genuine, and diagnose problems, but they also offer thoughtful solutions and are working with and for us.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel there's far too much responsibility on my plate and while some recognition is nice and increase in compensation is welcome, this is not a sustainable way to operate. I feel we need to do a better job hiring and supporting the teams tasked with taking on more projects.
