I've found this to be a great working environment. The people are nice and care about both the company and the customer. The product makes sense and provides a ton of value to our customers. The challenges are difficult and there's a great team to work together to overcome them.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Stock options that you can purchase before the company goes public. In my experience, only founders usually get that kind of benefit.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is there to make the company successful and we can almost always talk over differences of opinion and approach to doing that. Politics tends to be minimal and get controlled pretty quickly.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They communicate really well - they really seem to prioritize keeping people appraised of changes that are going on and, when they fail to do that (they are human), they recognize that, apologize and make plans to do better.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is focused on high-quality execution that focuses on delivering value to our customers. We won't cut corners to get a job done, but we will deliver value incrementally so that customers can start to get value as quickly as possible.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to use my skills in a way that provides the most value - within the scope of the work to be done, we get a lot of freedom to figure out how to get that work done in a way that makes us the most effective.
