There is a lot to improve. I accepted this position during a pandemic but communication and execution need to come together. My team does not even have a calendar to tell someone they are going to be out of the office later in the week.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The observance of many holidays to rest and refresh.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
More opportunities to get to know each other outside of job tasks.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Articulating the steps of their vision and connecting it with actionable steps for the people who will be carrying it out. Things are moving too fast at times and there is no clear plan.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I've been here a year and wish for a new challenge and ability to manage or lead people but I'm not sure my managers have enough bandwidth to even worry about staff or challenging team members to the best of their ability.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay needs to stay competitive. One person is doing the job of 3 people at this company some days. The company needs to stay aware of inflation and enhance payroll in a way that salaries are competitive, fair and aligned with the market for employees who are working hard to meet objectives.
