Connect to the business and understand the impact changes have on the teams that need to support implement them, roadblocks they create and plan ahead to address them.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I consider our compensation package to be "industry standard" for a multinational software company. It is good and fair, but hardly exceptional in any way compared to other similar companies.

The SIP is the best bonus program we have had and calculates fairly unlike the previous ones.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would feel better if my compensation was more aligned to the market standards based on my title, responsibilities and my contribution to the company. People reporting to you should not have a higher salary. Salary changes should also be confirmed prior to a new position being announced publicly.

To have the cost of living crisis taken into account. In our current market employees who switch jobs are earning on average 7-8% more after they make a switch (to a job at the same level). I'd like to see our leadership team acknowledge that by offering retention bonus to reward loyalty.

High level of diversity and collaboration. Lots of lateral movement in the company makes for lots of people with broad experience and vested interest in success of their team and other teams as well.
