I live the company as a whole and believe in the mission and values. I have worked hard and invested a lot of myself in my work. My direct manager could not be worse! Cold, not empathetic or supportive. Unable to give useful feedback and is punitive when you make mistakes (or thinks that you have).

Most people really are invested. They do try to be as much of a team as possible. Not all office environments are the same.

They are bright and enthusiastic. They work hard and believe in the core values. There are a few bad apples and they are harming the culture.

The culture is aspirational. People say one thing and do another. Most people try to live the values and there are others who are in it for themselves and don’t care how their behavior impacts others. The Exec team needs to slow things down so that people can be more relationship focuse

I have a significant experience and when I asked for a higher salary I was told that I was already overpaid. I recently became aware that someone with far less experience was hired at the same salary. It isn’t about pay for me, I’d have less issue with the pay if there was other forms of recogni
