Some leadership staff are just not suited for the role, QA staff need to get together and revise the style guide and be more consistent, the pay is terrible for the quality of audio that is given.

It was very particular with the requirements, very clear, allowed time to prepare and also have further attempts.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Other transcribers are generally very nice people, there is an opportunity to engage with them via the forums about non-work related topics, which helps to get to know them and develop work friendships.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compared to other online transcriber services, TranscribeMe is one of the lowest paid, with some of the worst audio quality. Because of this, work takes much longer to complete but the earnings are still pitifully low.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Leadership need to change their attitudes, and the QA needs to be more streamlined. The staff who assess our submitted work don't all stick to the same style guidelines that we are taught. Something can be classed as an error by one person and not another.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Some of the TM identified staff (supervisors/leaders) on the forums come across as having a bad attitude and 'holier than thou' way of communicating. It feels like they hate their job and have low tolerance for new staff, and instead of being understanding or helpful they answer questions rudely.
