Good somehow they are supportive
Their helpful nature and the support they always provide
There is a lot of support. Whenever i have a question, it is answered quickly.
The admins are friendly and helpful. Wouldn't have a clue who is running the company.
They care for all their workers.
The leadership team needs to remember that the transcriptionists are doing the bulk of the work and should be payed much, much more than they currently are. The leadership team should be paid less.
Listen to your crowd workers. Pay them fairly.

Very political. Admins have workers they love and hate. Who loves and hates that Admin will reflect on how they treat you. They will even take hours or days of your work away and give it to someone else without compensating you because you didn't 'technically' complete it per their whim. Good luck!

Need to better organize the projects and payments. Also need to improve communication with contractors.

Planning, pay, and communication would be tops.

Once you get onto more teams, you earn considerably more.
Flexibility/ability to choose how often you want to work
I can work when I want.
The harder you work, the faster you advance.

No defined compensation package, as such, as I'm a crowd worker - so, unable to comment on it.
I am paid by audio hours and not by how many hours I work. It comes out quite low sometimes, but I do have the convenience of being at home.
You could work for eight hours and make a total of $10. And I'm talking being in one of the best paid teams and as a fast touch typer. No extra pay for hard audio. No extra pay as a quality assessor for working on a job that has been transcribed very poorly and takes you 2 to 3 times as long to do.
It would be great if the hourly rate were better, but the online transcription industry seems to pay badly overall.
The rates are low. It's impossible to make a living wage in the United States while getting work from this company. I would feel better if i was paid more.
As a QA you are called on to correct other people's work. At times that involves multiple mishears, moving of words, adding words and punctuation. At times that creates additional hours of work that is not paid for. But no compensation given unless a chunk is bad enough to reject.

Everybody is very efficient, very qualified, skilled and always try to give their best.,
Always willing to help. Very knowledgeable, helpful, fair, and kind.
Everyone is very friendly and supportive.
Friendly bunch of workers and admins.
They try to be supportive in the shortest timeframe possible.
Fewer announcements about the same things over and over and over again. It's redundant and unnecessary.
Read and follow instructions and stop asking stupid questions that have been asked hundreds of times.

They need managers whom don't, fire people because they messed up
Review from Admin Dept
Your coworkers will not do their jobs and you will end up doing it or be screamed at. Any attempts at resolving this get your harassed by management. Eventually, you're fired and banned just because you wanted to do your job in peace.
Review from Admin Dept

Every transcriber has the opportunity to do as much or as little as they want. The minimum work requirement for transcribers is one transcription job per month. You do not depend on someone else's work to get your job done.
The actual employees/management does very little and dumps the work on the underpaid admins or yells at workers to do it with thinly veiled threats. So if they just actually did their job, that would be great.

Someone always willing to offer help and are extremely pleasant.
I'm home. What more can I say about that.
Everyone's willingness to help one another.
It's very tolerant of all feedback from staff, and they do try to solve problems we have.
Every single interaction is positive and helpful.
Pay people what they're worth.
Be more inclusive in leadership roles and in special teams and have a representative leadership that is very diverse so that things are equitable
Review from Operations Dept
Treat people that work for you like they matter. There is no reason I should have been treated so unfairly anbd now they refuse to pay me for the work i did.
Review from Admin Dept
They don't pay the transcribers enough, so you're always behind for the clients. They advertise flexible hours, then require a minimum amount of work to be completed (even if there is no work) and remove you if you do not abide by these impossible rules.
Review from Admin Dept

Starting pay is $15 per audio hour, as stated on our website. Transcribers are actively encouraged to join other teams with a higher pay rate. The minimum work requirement is one transcrption job/month, and you can file an inactivity notice otherwise
Better management and less politics/favoritism. The people that say they are there to help, aren't, and will target you if you go to them. And if they quit taking people's hard work and letting others complete it for compensation while the person that did it gets nothing. Communication.

Very supportive and they are honest
There wasn't an interview. I had to pass a test.
Easy to complete the test.
The exams were challenging but if you prepare well, you can scale througho
There was no face-to-face interview. We just had to pass an online test.
TranscribeMe's management already knows who they will pick before putting out job announcements. The interview process is just to fill out the laughable contract that gives them rights to every breath you've made and prevents you from EVER saying anything negative for life.
Review from Admin Dept

With over 2 million crowd workers, there is no way to know how many have the skills needed for admin roles as they become available. We do pride ourselves on promoting from within, and most of the admins today started out as transcribers.
They don't even know what to ask you. It always depends on what they need at the time, as though they're just asking questions to give them ideas of their own. They already know who they're picking. It's just a joke of a game they have to play while they try to benefit from it.

The flexibility and the opportunities provided are great. Also the various competitions held are also fun
Being home with my kid and flexibility of work days and hours.
Making my own hours. I choose what days and times I want to work.
Other friendly people just trying to make a buck. Sadly I'm no longer still delusioned into thinking if I just try harder and type faster I'll actually get paid appropriately for my labour.
I like that I can get to work at any time of the day and earn a decent amount of money doing so.
Not being paid enough makes a person feel like they're worthless. This company is bad for mental health.
Give me my job back and pay me please
Review from Admin Dept
The low pay and stress of trying to hear every single "um" and "uh" makes it stressful.
There's no winning. There are people that either like or hate someone and if that someone likes or hates you sets the tone of your environment. It's hostile and full of harassment. I think the only people happy, are those that manage to not get yelled at or criticized that particular day.

The multiple options of workgroups and categories to work in, and the good support for professional development.

Maybe the interface could be improved on so as to not require more data than is necessary.
