Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Open and easy to talk to.
They are personable and seem to know what they are doing and they were willing to sacrifice extra pay during the downturn.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Focus on improving apps easy of use over new shiny features
The leadership team needs to be completely transparent instead of hiding everything. The leadership team also needs to develop basic reading comprehension skills as well.
No transparency at all. They lack any sort of human connection which is kind of funny for the type of company they are
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Unlimited vacation and flexible work schedule
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
People's talent are not correctly put to use - there's plenty of 10x employees but they need to be discovered and utilized correctly. Compensation is more than fair for east coast employees.
The director of our department would create need tasks for our team. All of these tasks would benefit other departments and increase our already high workload. We weren’t compensated fairly for doing the work of multiple department
Pay is low, and the company's benefits are not great.
Heard but not actually listened to. A pay raise will help me feel better about compensation
benefits not in a good state atm but that's cause covid, as soon as economy picks up I expect benefits will be back
What are some of the best things about your team?
Lack of decisions and put off addressing issues
My team was amazing. We were a small but mighty team.
Great people, smart, willing to help, etc.
Energetic and experienced and nice.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Learning stipend is a plus and remote culture is decent enough
The people and care for people as a human and not just an employee
People are nice to eachother
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
More collaboration between teams and more refined plans from product
Very negative atmosphere from leadership and managers
What did you like most about the interview process?
Interview process was simple and breezy
It was straight forward and clear.
no ridiculous whiteboard coding challenges

Less interviews - I had six interviews.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working on problems end to end
Good communication and clear alignment on goals

Company just had layoffs even though they just landed a good investment.
