What's the company culture like at AES?
Culture is poor, but very dependent on where you work. The people you work with on a day to day basis are usually fine. The problems typically arise between the incredible difference in how people in the field and the Arlington Office are treated, paid, titled, etc.
Culture is pretty great. Probably the best part of the company. They have a pretty good ability to hire fun yet hard working people.
How are the vision insurance options at AES?
There are no options - VSP or nothing.

He is a ghost. Too busy hanging out with foreign leaders to lead the company
How's the work life balance at AES?
Good. I put in some OT sometimes but I rarely work more than 40 hours a week.
How does AES make decisions around promotions?
The promotion process really does seem to be merit based.
How are the managers at AES?
AES employees rate their manager an A- or 76/100 and the majority believe their manager truly cares about them as a person. Most of the employees (100%) also feels pretty comfortable providing negative feedback directly to their boss.
