The people being hired need to actually WANT to work. They also need to be able to scrip or constructive criticism and just show up and do the job they're getting paid to do. Simple as that.
I'm not in a happy environment. The job is just a paycheck to me so I can take care of my family, who I barely get to see due to my hours at the stores. I'm most happy to leave work.
The leadership team eeds to communicate better with each other and stop targeting employees who don't want to dedicate their whole life to the store. Employees have families, and friends, and health issues, and persons lives, but winco punishes you for putting all that stuff first over the store.
The managers are constantly switching stores, and so when theres an effective team and a new manager comes in, it messes things up. Instead of the manager coming in and adjusting to an effective team, they start changing things, and it slows things down, causes issues, and wastes time.
I feel undervalued because I'm a hard worker but get treated less than by store managers than other employees who don't even show up to work. I work harder for the same pay as a coworker who only faces shelves all night, but when the 500 takes don't get completed, I'm the one getting chastised.
