Horrible experience from a sales perspective. The company doesn't understand sales, they are abusive towards salespeople and are unreasonably demanding. It is the worst experience working for the current CRO and sales management team. They are just not good people.

How flexible is your work schedule at ANOMALI?
It is flexible but there is constant work; I find myself working long hours doing a lot of needless administrivia. We have a lot of systems, in fact, I think they bought every systems ever presented to them. So expect to spend time at a computer doing HR, Salesforce, etc. They have this really cheesy thing called 15-5 that feels juvenile and is a complete waste of time.
How hard is it to get promoted at ANOMALI?
Hard enough to keep a job. Managers "keep 'em down on the farm" and the new CRO, hired in November of 2019, wants to bring in his own crew and give them the titles. It is really sick.
What do you wish you knew before starting at ANOMALI?
The product isn't hot anymore. It is dying down and they're having growth issues. They are not transparent at all with company finances. As the sales dwindle, the new CRO hired in 2019 is mean-spirited towards people; the CEO has a history of hiring abusive sales managers going back to his days as CEO of ArcSight. The company just doesn't respect salespeople.
What are the most important soft skills to be successful at ANOMALI?
Not sure. They recently hired a CRO in November of 2019 who is a jerk. The CEO is somewhat aloof. The sales management team is out of a used car dealership. Soft skills? Some of the worker-bees are wonderful people. But titles breed arrogance. And our execs have a lot of that.

Casual.
What makes you the most proud about working at ANOMALI?
It is a cool space to be in.
What is the best perk or benefit that ANOMALI offers?
Health care...it is good.
Does ANOMALI have a volunteer program?
Yes..they give two days off a year.
