ACT used to be amazing. Gone are those days. Huge layoffs almost every other year. Contractors and outsourcing are the new normal. Dont question anyone above you. Most managers insist on micromanaging everything. I keep my head down and just try not to be replaced.

Stop hiring contractors and invest in the full time employees.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop hiring contractors. There is NO job security. This used to be a great place to work. Now its just a job. Keep your head down. Dont question anyone above you. Hope you dont get replaced.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The only hire contractors. Mainly the cheapest they can find. Most of the contractors are horrible and do the bare minimum. There is no thought given to the future in the tools and apps they develop because they know they wont be around to deal with the mess.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
This company used to be incredible to work for. Now, its just a bunch of execs desperately trying to find the next big thing. They chase whatever the new shiny object is, sacrificing anything and everything to try to catch it....then a new shiny thing pops up...and they chase that.
