The health insurance is average. The 401k match is average. The salaries are below average. The perks for employees are nonexistent unless you consider build your own Chex mix at the 60th anniversary party a perk...oh yeah, there was lemonade.
I signed up my husband and myself for healthcare. The cost was prohibitive and they never really signed him up or let me use my health care. So I was paying for something I didn't have and couldn't use if I did. It took a huge chunk out of my pay check and the issue was never resolve.

The pay could be better because we deal with alot of people who try to lie to us and we have to get to the truth in a limited amount of time .

Despite the corporate culture of just hiring contractors, the real employees do care about the work they do.
The team tries to help one and other when problems arise. We whisper encouragement for upselling and trade tips to be more efficient workers.

The only hire contractors. Mainly the cheapest they can find. Most of the contractors are horrible and do the bare minimum. There is no thought given to the future in the tools and apps they develop because they know they wont be around to deal with the mess.

Stop hiring contractors. There is NO job security. This used to be a great place to work. Now its just a job. Keep your head down. Dont question anyone above you. Hope you dont get replaced.
The company has gone from being a great place to work to a below average cube farm. There are little to no perks of working at ACT and budgets keep shrinking...yet we keep finding millions of dollars to buy other companies.

Easy computer test. It seems they just want warm bodies. The turn over rate is high, so the interviewers are very nice and help.

This company used to be incredible to work for. Now, its just a bunch of execs desperately trying to find the next big thing. They chase whatever the new shiny object is, sacrificing anything and everything to try to catch it....then a new shiny thing pops up...and they chase that.
The employees are no longer valued and seen as commodities.
