Actually knowing what their employees do

Have never met them. Never see them. They're out of touch and in meetings all the time. It's very clear at TriHealth if you don't have numerous initials behind your name, you are nothing.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Plenty of PTO and lots of perks through the Total Rewards packages they offer.

Fair compensation is ompetable with other hospitals.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Competitive pay. Teens entering the marketplace are starting out very close to what experienced, knowledgeable, professional 10-15 year employees make at TriHealth. AND we have to be there. Rain, Snow, Tornado, Emergency, COVID, we are there. Holidays, weekends, nights, WE ARE THERE.

Salary is fine, benefits are not great. Too much money comes from our pocket with super high deductables

I AM CONSTANTLY WORKING EXTRA TO HELP, OFTEN TIMES IF WE HAVE A CALL OFF IT PUTS US SHORT STAFFED, I DO 2X THE WORK FOR MY PAY WHICH IS NOT FAIR AND IT WOULD BE MADE UP FOR IF OUR BENEFITS WERE BETTER EX MORE VACATION TIME IN OUR AND NOT LOSING OUR SHORT TERM DISABILITY THAT WE WORKED FOR

What are some of the best things about your team?

They are just awesome people. We use a peer interview process so we can assess cultural fit before hiring new Team Members, which is excellent for retention and building relationships that last.

Focused on quality patient care

Many are Nice people. Many are Caring, hard working, good people.

Everyone has patient's best interest in mind

MOST OF MY TEAM MATES ARE TEAM PLAYERS WE HELP EACH OTHER AND CIRCULATE TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS OK, ALSO WE ALL SHARE OUR KNOWLEDGE WITH ONE ANOTHER, TO FURTHER EACH OTHER IN OUR CAREER!

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

The ability to change the situation/management treatment is not there. Seeking help only results and losing employment. Hierarchy is supported At all cost. sadly, there is great loss of character and integrity as a result. This does not represent the foundation of Trey unfortunately

Fairness. Treating employees as individuals, not numbers or groups of "types". Special programs have gone too far to where lazy, slow employees are paid higher than the experienced, knowledgeable, hard working employees.

Managers need to speak up for team members and not pretend like things are fine

What did you like most about the interview process?

As I mentioned earlier, the peer interview process allows for team members to provide feedback on potential candidates and the organization actually listens!

I enjoyed the ability to be interviewed with all the different players within the department. I learned more about each person and the players and how each one support the other.

Straightforward questions with minimal problems

Peer interviews are a form of torture. Outdated. Cincinnati is 100 years behind. So is TriHealth. Nothing is fair to the long term worker. If your mgr doesn't want to lose you, she doesn't. And you don't grow, don't get more pay, better job, or anything. Like a bad marriage.

People are relaxed and very personable. Plenty of room to grow and learn.

what I've always valued most is the character integrity of most people as well as the support among the group function I am in. I have enjoyed that group very much.
