No one is stupid , market dynamics are high and your are truthful to yourself and your employees. Leadership is lost in numerous things rather than clarity of thought and sustained action..
To be more fair and open
put employees at a level where profits are not the only company goal.
Be more open about acknowledging challenges we are facing. Be willing to adjust external stakeholder expectations that enable investments that are further out than 6-12 months.
Improved communication. Appreciation for employees. It would also help if there was attention put on why attrition was so high.

Quit with the moral busting, as long as the products are getting made and the machines are running safely. Let the workers sing, let them enjoy there time at work. A happy worker is a productive worker.

They force us to work 7 days a week, even taking our holidays. The only way we get a day or full 2 day weekend off is to use our precious vacation time. We are forced in on weekends, only to not have much to do during the work week. That needs to change now, no matter what.
