Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay is way below median range for the job. Pay for experienced individuals should be minim at median level

As per market standards better compensation are available for the skills.
Currently I am coming out of that category but only because I have a manager taking the time to champion my position to better align my compensation with my responsibilities and experience. A structured path for employee advancement would have provided better guidance and understanding.

Most mid to senior management at Calix are Mavericks or Venturers, indifferent to structure, details, or processes. Direct reports must quickly execute their leaders' spontaneous ideas. The organization lacks skills in analysis, problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and clear communication.
Communication. Overall, the message not always travel all the way. Sometimes directions are very unclear and confusing.
Co-workers should be able to understand the peers facilitation and the reason for a process.

How collaborative everyone is. There has not yet been a single person unwilling to help regardless of their title. Everyone digs in and helps and wants you to succeed.

Company culture is good overall. We do tend to be somewhat awed by our own great culture that we fail to recognize when or if team members are struggling, especially if they are struggling with their manager (or their manager's behaviour)

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Siloed culture, mis-aligned priorities across the teams, decision making held by a small group of people so even as a senior leader you really have no power to move forward.
