They genuinely listen, care about everyone's feedback because they focus on the actual facts that happy and healthy consultants perform at their best, instead of pressuring consultant to grind and just get the work done.
Always reachable and available to talk to employees
Transparent leaders who guide with heart
Communication is Key and they have it!!
Actions match words. Stances are taken regarding potentially divisive topics and they follow that with donations, sponsorships, and boots on the ground support and assistance to marginalized groups.

Alignment to objectives. They seek to enter a new growth stage but have not clearly defined how nor received buy-in from all necessary stakeholders.
Reocgnizing issues when brought to light. Being prosctive about toxic personnel and their impact on teams. Culture isnt everything.
Not micro-managing every little thing.
They really need to check their microagressive behavior. Minorities do not stay in the DC office. There is a reason why.
Honest with the employees, accept mistakes, care about clients
Review from Engineering Dept
Fair, moderate industry-standard salary and bonus based on performance. The company is private, so there's no being beholden to public shareholder profits.
Fair pay and benefits for all members
Variability in bonus structure for sales folks
Salary is competitive for consulting
Their compensation is on par with the industry
Pay based on experience and industry SME
I feel am paid less
Review from Engineering Dept
Better benefits like HSA, more PTO is essential
My market has high standards for performance and very little in the way of talent to make it happen - at all levels, but mostly leadership
Compensation structure is not aligned to what market is paying
Review from Executive Dept
We care about and cultivate growing and learning. Slalom isn't doing it for the internal PR stunt, but rather to ensure consultants can grow in order to keep their jobs and expand their profession.
They are incredibly smart but humble and they are very collaborative
Trust and psychological safety - at least in my practice. When working with BAS and TAS may have to be on guard.
Connected, candid, supportive, real team-players all around.
Review from Engineering Dept
Competent professionals focused on the client's success through the success of their teammates.
Review from Product Dept
They are not seasoned enough; Slalom keeps hiring people with little to no consultative experience and they do not know how to deduce and create from ambiguity; the company is reacting to this by building out perspective ways of working which isn't working
Don't drink the Kool-Aide. You are not a family and they won't always do the right thing. Slalom is a highly political environment with very little regard for their people.
Lots of ideas spinning around with no clear outcome or value.
Review from HR Dept
The customers are the best part of the work day
Free snacks in the breakroom
People care about each other
The internal initiatives are pretty cool
Review from Product Dept
Everyone is encouraged and supported to be their authentic selves and it is not taken lightly if issues arise with Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity.

Need better a management team
Provide flexibility to your consultants. Let them work from home or the client site as they see fit. Your 1950s management style is out of fashion.
Alignment to core values. Need to get back to why the company was started beyond just keeping local as a core value. Local markets focus solely on revenue and profit in spite of consultants balance of life now (or respect - pressure to charge at least 44 hours/week.
Review from Executive Dept
The interviewers are very friendly and gives feedback after interview
The personal touch of the recruiters throughout
Got to know several people I'd be collaborating with
The recruiters take the time to get to know you.
Good mix of quatitative and qualitative tests to assess candidates fairly

I've been able to carve my own path of what I want to focus on and grow in; after a few years, I found the tech I enjoy working with and becoming an expert in it to best service clients with my own recommendations while also feeling supported by my directors.
The people are incredible- word
Doing great work and helping clients improve
Work-life Balance is a reality here

Making meaningful connections, personally and professionally, with people all over the globe.
Review from Engineering Dept
Stop ignoring turnover. Ask some hard questions and come up with actual solutions.
