What makes you most happy at work?I've been able to carve my own path of what I want to focus on and grow in; after a few years, I found the tech I enjoy working with and becoming an expert in it to best service clients with my own recommendations while also feeling supported by my directors.
What are some of the best things about your team?We care about and cultivate growing and learning. Slalom isn't doing it for the internal PR stunt, but rather to ensure consultants can grow in order to keep their jobs and expand their profession.
What is the best part about your compensation package?Fair, moderate industry-standard salary and bonus based on performance. The company is private, so there's no being beholden to public shareholder profits.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better? They are not seasoned enough; Slalom keeps hiring people with little to no consultative experience and they do not know how to deduce and create from ambiguity; the company is reacting to this by building out perspective ways of working which isn't working
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Pay based on experience and industry SME
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Alignment to objectives. They seek to enter a new growth stage but have not clearly defined how nor received buy-in from all necessary stakeholders.
