I love my job, but we need leadership. There is no way for the plant to continue on its current path and stay open.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The health insurance is reasonably priced. At my former employer, the health insurance took half of my salary. ABB is very reasonable.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I love my coworkers……but, there is A LOT of drama. Again, this is due to the lack of leadership and accountability. When employees can do as they please, you have anarchy, not productivity.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Lack of accountability. Our plant has an attitude problem. They have become entitled, lazy workers. They want to be paid but do not want to work, or help ABB succeed. You fix it by making employees accountable for their work and getting rid of those that do not care about ABB.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I don’t remember much about the interview, but I do recall leaving the room knowing in my heart that I would get the job. My manager back then was a good guy and we got along great. I do not understand the current hiring process since they keep hiring totally unqualified individuals.
