I am a cashier at Ace Hardware. First off: There has been no air conditioning for two months. It is going to reach 110 degrees today and all we have at the registers are the cheapest tiniest fans money can buy. This is cruel and inhumane. The meetings are just about the managers. They never ask us for feedback on ANYTHING
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Making sure team morale is high. People are quitting left and right because managers point out our faults and never compliment us in person.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My coworkers are the ONLY ones who value me and compliment me on the work I do. They make me look forward to going to work everyday
