Active Interest Media Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Stock equity not available so not relevant. My plan rewards me for success.

Review from Marketing Dept

401K Matching and overall compensation package is fair.

Review from Sales Dept

Health benefits are very good.

Review from Operations Dept

The best part of the compensation package is it's straightforward, easily trackable, and based on accomplishments.

Review from Sales Dept

The best part about my compensation package is that it's fair.

Annual bonus, rich benefits, flexible time off, EAP, sick bank, industry discounts, we've been given the last week of December off for several years. We have access to our online education courses, onsite yoga, gym.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I don't feel undervalued, but budget constraints make it difficult to argue for a pay raise. I would actually like to know if I am being paid fairly for the work I am doing which is above and beyond my job description.

Review from Marketing Dept

The compensation does quantify the invaluable and indispensable nature of the position in correlation with the quality of work that has been performed.

I am somewhat satisfied about my compenstion

Review from Product Dept

Not able to critique based on tenure with company.

Yes, absolutely. More pay would make things a lot better.

Review from Operations Dept

Cost of living for Boulder is high, and it is very hard to live on my current salary. Higher pay would be the only way to make me feel better about my compensation.

Review from Operations Dept

I did a salary comparison for my level of seniority, experience & education, and geographical location a few years ago and my salary is still at the bottom of the range for my peers after receiving a raise at that time.

The salary is just a bit lower but that is also outdoor industry standard.

Review from Marketing Dept

In my department, I don't feel undervalued. I'm an integral part of the team and my salary reflects that.
