I met with the scheduler. It took 2 weeks to hear back.
How secure do you feel at your job at Addus Homecare?
Extremely because I have a set schedule of 15 clients a week and I accept a lot of emergency coverage needs. I also accept a lot of travel time to get to clients
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Addus Homecare?
Impossible. I have been neglecting my family and friends because of 10 hour days or getting called in when I am planning on being off.

What does the ideal candidate in the Customer Support department look like at Addus Homecare?
Somebody that knows the area. Someone that will schedule a time that works for the client, find a caregiver that matches the needs of the client. THEN LEAVE IT ALONE! Stop changing set times with set clients. Especially when the client requires care at a certain time for specific reasons. A client with mobility issues who can't get out of bed alone, shouldn't be left alone until 10- 11am. Clients who need meds at noon should have a caregiver there at noon, not 10 am or 2pm. At the very least reserve changes for emergencies and at least call the client to tell them of schedule changes.
How flexible is your work schedule at Addus Homecare?
I am overbooked constantly. I am often scheduled beyond my availability and have even had clients added without being asked.
