Executive Bio

Mr. Gregory Sauter, P.E. serves as Chief Corporate Officer and Executive Vice President of AECOM Technology Corporation. Mr. Sauter provides operational leadership to enterprise-level Human Resources, Information Technology, Chief Technical Office and the Safety, Health and Environment support services teams. He oversees the AECOM Community Trust (ACT) and the emerging Technical Practice Networks, as well as advancing the ACT's corporate-level commitment to sustainability and its relationship to ACT. Mr. Sauter served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Services at AECOM Technology Corporation since March 2009. He served as Senior Vice President, Chief Engineer and Director - Office of Risk Management at DMJM Harris, Inc. Mr. Sauter served as an Executive Vice President and Director of Corporate Services at Dmjm Harris, Inc., AECOM's U.S. Group, where he was responsible for Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Safety & Health, Information Technology, Communications, Project Management and other group-wide initiatives and activities. He was also responsible for Human Resources, Recruiting and Training and Development. Mr. Sauter is a professional engineer and joined AECOM in 2000 as Director of Quality and Risk Management for its legacy Frederic R. Harris operation. He served at Stone & Webster, where he held several different leadership positions in project and program management, engineering, quality, risk and safety. Mr. Sauter held significant project positions on major programs, including transportation, environmental remediation, power generation, unexploded ordinance and chemical weapons destruction. During his 20-plus-year career, his leadership skills have helped advance teams across multi-disciplined areas to build consensus and collaborate on developing effective, creative and implementable solutions in response to complex challenges. He serves as a Director of American Society for Quality. He is a Member of American Society of Civil Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies and Engineers Without Borders. Mr. Sauter is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado and holds Master of Business Administration in Finance from Rutgers University, Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from University of Alabama and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Massachusetts.
