Mr. James F. Thompson, PE, serves as Chief Executive of Global Programs at AECOM Technology Corporation. Mr. Thompson served as Chief Executive of International Government Services at AECOM Technology Corporation. Mr. Thompson has more than 26 years of experience in engineering and facilities management on projects throughout the U.S. and globally. His business experience includes program and project management of largescale transportation, facilities and infrastructure developments and operations of all sizes for government entities globally. His technical expertise lies in civil, hydraulic and structural engineering as well as surveying and mapping. Mr. Thompson has served as the Program Manager, Project Manager, Design Engineer and Construction Manager for a variety of engineering and construction projects around the world. His current and past projects include storm water management, water treatment and supply, wastewater collection and distribution, highways, roadways and bridges, airports, flood control, geographic information systems and conventional infrastructure improvements. He has written various technical publications and made numerous presentations on topics ranging from automated computer design techniques and storm water management practices to modern municipal surveying applications for municipal mapping. Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
