What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership team is open and transparent
Business minded. They commuiicate frequently and often.
respectful, beief and smart people. not much personal relations other than work related stuff
So kind and caring , down to earth, they want to listen you , welcome you always accept your suggestions
they keep you updated with whats going on
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They have technical knowledge and know the afiniti specific work good but they are lack of soft skills.
All management team need to learn how to manage without favoritism and needs to learn basics morality like how to tell the truth, how to treat other humans and to differentiate between Robots and humans. They expect people to work more than 40 hrs and penalize you in the reviews if you dont agree.
Avoid favouritism and their extent level of egoistic attitude and change never listening behaviour
Highly political and incompetent management. Management needs to get up to International Standards. There are no proper systems in place, no training and everybody is trying to finger point at each other. The management also needs to be nice to its employees and not restrict their thinking.
They do not even know the names of there team members how pathetic it is
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Its better than market pay
Base pay is fine. No bonus comissions or equity.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
i wish i was heard just once and i'll never recommend anyone
Make big promises but do not deliver, no proper training or employee development. Just petty politics and bad culture.
Company pays less and doesn't increase benefits even after inflation
Market equivalent salary while working in nights. Their is no work life balance yet your boss is never happy at the time of appraisal

I feel like being taken advantage of because the executives are quite stingy when it comes to Employee benefits but are ever ready to get benefits for themselves.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Team is supportive, fun and we laugh and are like family
AI, research and technical teams are very smart
Versatile, most of them are best at what they do

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The company puts too much pressure on everyone so not really employees fault.
They should step up and think that their decision of staying long times is toxic to every one in the company. It would be better if they start gaining confidence on their own abilities than to survive on edge under such management.
avoid politics in everything and stop being mean and as helping other will not harm you much
Think about scalability and not putting all the code in one file.
Too much politics professional jealousy and bootlicking culture. Employees sometimes hide information from each other and favouritism is rife.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
some HOD needs to change because of their egoistic nature and favouritism behaviour and should listen to their employees as we makes it possible for you to earn that much else without us Afiniti is nothing
Hopeless to be honest. Stop toxic politics and improve work life balance, people are not machines. Develop employees and dont police them all the time.
Everything from manager to co workers
Removal of unnecessary meetings. Meeting should be with predefined agenda and should adhere to timeliness instead of wasting 15 persons time for non issues

Better Work Life balance. There are a lot of 'On Paper' benefits but they are hardly applied in real life.

Set expectations that this is not a modern AI company

The interviews should be challenging enough to hire good people.
it was average process so its fine to continue with that but Afiniti is good at hiring but does not value their employees
Make it more difficult, i felt it was too easy.

It is an insane amount of stress and politics, bad bosses, bad atmosphere in general.
Changing management can help improve work environment
There is no check and balance on AI team. They tweak the model and if its not delivering they start blaming others for it
