How employees describe working at Alteryx
I loved the product ever since I worked with it in Udacity's Predictive Analytics program. The drag & drop features, machine learning additions...it's all wonderful for data analysis. The product offers so many use cases. So, love of the product is there. Even better, the customer service is great!

What is the most challenging/frustrating part of working at Alteryx?
Alteryx has an incredible opportunity in front of it, and a product that we all love even as employees. However, sometimes it can feel like our opportunity to dominate a market is being squandered. It can be frustrating to watch. But this also presents a great challenge to innovate and conquer the challenges ahead. This is therefore the most frustrating AND challenging thing about working at Alteryx.
What's the pay like for Engineering roles at Alteryx?
Very competitive, from what I’ve seen.
What's the Engineering team like at Alteryx?
Amazing. Some truly brilliant people that are also some of the nicest and most passionate people I’ve worked with.
How's the leadership on the Engineering team at Alteryx?
There are some organizational changes happening somewhat regularly right now, and communication could be better, but things are moving in the right direction. They are actively soliciting feedback from all levels and taking action based on that feedback.
What's the vibe like in the Engineering dept at Alteryx? How many hours are you working?
Depends on the team, but largely there is a fantastic attitude toward work life balance and working however (and wherever) you’re most productive. Working 40hrs/week, +/- couple hours here and there for personal stuff as it comes up. It’s awesome. =)
What are some of the best things about your team at Alteryx?
They're team players. We are motivated to succeed together with great ideas. There is a nice balance of collaboration and autonomy.
What is the best part about your compensation package at Alteryx?
It's fair and equitable and we all receive stock options. Great way to give us skin in the game and incentivize us to do our best work daily
