The products and engineering office in Kendall Square is simply amazing and the best place I've ever had the joy to work. Quiet and focused during the day. Standing desks available if you like. Most have earbuds in throughout the day. Leaders are on the phone all day but generally take calls in private so as not to disturb the rest. There are several meeting rooms for small or large groups with beautiful views of the Charles and Boston. Of course there are all the free snacks and cold and hot beverages of you could want. Eng. and others tend to walk to somewhere local to pickup lunch and come back to eat together. After business hours some like to get together for drinks in nearby East Cambridge. When the weather is nice you may find others playing a round or two of Spikeball or some other fun activity. Once a week we do a lunch & learn with topics from sailing to quantum physics to making (and tasting!) hummus. All are smart, driven, nice and a pleasure to work with.

Corey is extremely well-respected, accessible, down-to-earth, and most importantly, inspirational.
Corey is doing a fine job navigating the challenges of the market and moving the company towards profitability. There have been some missteps along the way, but the core of the business is resilient.

People generally work hard, but it's because they are passionate about their work and the company. There is unlimited free vacation and flexibility, but you do need to have a strong work ethic.
Good, people are dedicated and work hard but they have work from home options plus unlimited vacation. Management is understanding as long as work gets done.

Solid interview, not as technically challenging as other companies. The culture part of the interview is always on point.

For tech, there is a phone screen and then a multi-panel in person interview. At least to technically driven panels.
What's the vibe like in the Engineering dept at Rapid7? How many hours are you working?
The team is pretty relaxed as long as you consistently meet your responsibilities and deadlines. I usually work 40-45 hrs/week and am able to get everything needed plus injections done in that time.
