What are some of the best things about your team?
We work really hard but we also have a lot of fun. The team is really smart and supportive. English is not my first language but my team makes me feel safe to make any mistakes when speaking.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love that Amazon has different tools and resources to support my growth and keeps building products to improve employees experience. I could literally learn about anything or anyone around the world without dedicating much time searching for it. It also allows people to make career transitions.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are open to discuss difficult matters, even when they don't what would be the correct answer. During hard times , they worked really hard to find ways to alleviate our stress and encourage us to take breaks and have some fun. They propagate kindness in every meeting.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am challenged every day (and in the right proportion). I have the tools and resources to deliver it, but if I didn't had, I know someone could probably help me to build it. I meet with people from different places around the world every week. My manager is 100% focused on my development.
