What do you like best about the leadership team?
The transparency in the decision making process and the fact they are taking all of us into consideration.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The camaraderie, we are all customer obsessed, supportive or each other professionally and personally, there's a high level of respect across all members.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
When I joined at a different team I don't think they gave me a fair offer. I recently transitioned to consumer and I'm hoping my compensation will be reevaluated to be aligned with my contributions as well as my team's equity.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The collaboration, I don't have a close friend because I just joined this new team, but I'm positive I will be making friends soon! There are wonderful people I like and we are strengthening our connections. Again, my boss is extremely approachable, and now, I actually think she's a friend!
What makes you most happy at work?
Delivering, delighting my customers. Learning! I learn something new every single day. I've been at Amazon for a little over 6 months and I believe I've learned more in these 6 months than I've learned in 2 years at a previous role. I love that I have the ability to be autonomous!
