Review from Marketing Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Decisions are made by upper management without consulting people in lab to best see how things would work

Review from Operations Dept

Too many changes have been going on and they are changes that are making it more difficult to manage our workflows. The changes being made are not benefitting the lab at all

Review from Operations Dept

My manager burns us out as much as possible. She is extremely inept at her job as a leader. She expects us to work 10-12 hours daily due to company needs. There is no work life balance. Maybe if the higher ups were more aware of how their managers manage, things can improve. no accountability

Review from Operations Dept

Everyone has too much to do and although the work is gratifying, I never feel like you're doing it well because it's difficult to complete any given task due to competing tasks

Review from Operations Dept

We need to put more resources into improving the lab and each workflow. Many times instruments are out of order and the manual process makes it very difficult. We need to improve tracker3, case manager, and the other sites we use. They are incredibly slow and difficult to navigate.

Review from Operations Dept

Like I stated AEs do not seem to be valued by Ambry leadership or Ambry corporate. I feel that leadership & corporate think AEs are a dime-a-dozen and do not value our skills, relationships, and ability to maintain and grow business with minimal support from leadership

Review from Sales Dept

While we did not go through any lay offs during the pandemic, we recently did, unexpectedly have company wide layoffs which was extremely discouraging after having gone through so many fast paced changes as a company together to merely have people let go in the end to "benefit the company".

Review from Operations Dept

Company needs to be proactive, instead of reactive. Build a backup plan. Stop being so sales driven and try to be reimbursement focused as well. Find replacements for the people laid off - PFS needs to have more hands and help.

Review from Finance Dept

Some processes need revision or don't exist as written procedures

Review from Product Dept

Compensation needs to be competitive and re-evaluated at least 2x/year.

Review from Operations Dept

Again, salary adjustment. Leadership team to be more leaders than bosses.

Review from Operations Dept

A lot is going on, and nothing will be improved with what we say. It's already been decided.

Review from Operations Dept

Management and the executive team don't seem like they care about lab. Giving food will only act as a bandage to the underlying problem that is the low pay. Paying competitively would fix that

Review from Operations Dept

Lacks leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate when managing their team. They fail to provide staff with positive feedback or acknowledgment of a job well done. We need a better manager.

Review from Finance Dept

Senior leadership fails to recognize great talent and compensate their employees fairly, causing abnormal turnover rate. They continue to fail to address employee concerns, causing morale to be the lowest ever.

Review from Operations Dept

The uncertainty of the future and the rapid rate of attrition. I believe it can be improved if the focus shifted to the companies greatest asset, the employees.

Review from HR Dept

Ambry is going down the tube as it preps for going IPO

Review from Operations Dept

Make hybrid working a thing. This is a stupid company, with a stupider CEO.

Review from Engineering Dept

Morale is low, people leaving the company for more pay, and knowledge. The direction of the company is headed with the change in leadership from all levels and whos replacing them. Give more monetary compensation, and treat employees with respect.

Review from Operations Dept

Better competitive messaging, more offerings, and a better idea of R&D. Where is this company going? What are they goals? I can't relay this information myself, nor to customers.
