Mr. Gregory L. Nelson has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Ameren Corporation, Ameren Services Company, Union Electric Company, Ameren Missouri, Genco, Ameren Illinois Company and Ameren energy Generating Co. since March 2, 2011 and has been its Secretary since May 1, 2011. Mr. Nelson has been Vice President of Corporate Planning of Ameren Services since 1999. He serves as a Secretary of Union Electric Company and Ameren Illinois Company. Mr. Nelson served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of AmerenIP since March 1, 2011. Mr. Nelson served as a Vice President of Ameren energy Generating Co., a subsidiary of Ameren Corp., since December 11, 2003. He served as a Vice President of Union Electric Company (UE), Central Illinois Public Service Company (CIPS), CILCORP Inc. (CILCORP) and Central Illinois Light Company (CILCO), direct and indirect subsidiaries of Ameren Corp., since December 11, 2003. He served as Vice President of Ameren Services Company, a subsidiary of Ameren Corp. since February 16, 1999. Mr. Nelson joined Union Electric Company (UE), a subsidiary of Ameren Corporation in 1995 as Manager of the Tax Department. From 1988 to 1995, he was associated with the Washington D.C. office of the law firm Reid & Priest (now Thelen Reid & Priest LLP), where he represented investor-owned electric utilities and the Edison Electric Institute. From 1984 to 1988, he served as a Trial Attorney with the Tax Division of the DOJ. Mr. Nelson joined CIPS in 1979 as a Tax Accountant and was later promoted to Income Tax Supervisor. He serves as Director of Union Electric Company. He assumed positions of increasing responsibility and became Treasurer and Assistant Secretary in 1989 and Vice President of Corporate Services in 1996, which position he later relinquished. He served as Vice President of Merger Coordination at Ameren Services and CIPS in 1998. He serves as a Director of Ameren Energy Generating Company. He has been a Director of Ameren Illinois Company since 2011. He served as Director of Ameren Corporation.
