Many of my coworkers lack training and development. As a nonprofit organization the staff is overwhelmingly female and in some markets all female. The lack of gender diversity is painful.
Management needs to listen to staff so as to understand their needs. Morale is very low. A recent merger was handled very clumsily and the effects of poor communication and planning linger.

As an older worker, I truly value the innovation and forward thinking style of younger workers. Senior management is dominated by older, white, mostly male people. Fresh blood and a new way of thinking are needed from the top down.
