The rates are so high everyone is cancelling
The insurance premiums are outrageously high and not competive. The executive office does not care about the lower level employees well being or the policyholders. They only care about the $ the sales staff brings in so that they can justify giving themselves, the executives, higher salaries.
Change the leadership and provide managable claims workloads
Replace senior leadership with competent management
Inexperienced management who won't listen to feedback
People are leaving in droves - it's a combination of lack of flexibility with WFH arrangements, low pay, and management (micromanagement).
Amica's strength was being great at being a preferred risk company. The UW guidelines were loosened (or just ignored, depending on the day) and the loss ratio shows it. Tighten up the underwriting & stop being afraid of saying "no" to customers every now and then.
