They are nice and friend
Offers leadership plan with current young employees
They seem to. Listen well and try to get to know you on a personal level.
Transparent communication and always have employees best interest at heart.
There is a unified feeling and a clear path to career success and continued development.
Being less "nice". Holding people accountable for actual results.
Spend time in the role they are leading. Not an hour or a day but a week or a month to understand the asks they are asking.
Be more flexible with ideas
Admit that bad decisions were made, a little humility goes a long way.
Listen to employee feedback also hire and promote people with experience
401k match and pto isgreat
Pension which was the best part of the benefit package when I was first employed
The healthcare benefits are amazing.
Salary and benefits are strong
It is not basic it is better than most I have seen and still there are a variety of options to have a customized coverage for the needs of varying people. I like that Amica walks the talk, we provide the best insurance for our customers and that includes our internal customers/ fellow-workers.
Better chances of being promoted to officer
My feedback is not listened too by management
My input is not valued
More pay the pay can be low for what you deal with.
Compensation is lower than the industry average, and substantially so. Benefits used to make up for it, and while they are still great, they are not enough to make up for the lesser pay.
Great people to work and interact with
Committed, hard working, and dedicated
They are very focused on trying to do a good job.
The workerbee are nice but office politics gets in the way
Most worker bees are very nice.
The employees on my team are tired & worn out. Week after week of more re-assignments from people that recently quit. We'd get along better if we actually had time to talk to each other instead of taking endless phone calls.
Quite frankly my coworkers suffer from the same problems as I do...low morale. Due to the lies and cutthroat behavior of CIS leadership, no-one has drive to work beyond what is absolutely necessary.
Less Gossip, and less of management playing favorites
Review from Customer Support Dept
My team is so active.
Less playing politics and more focusing on your own work.
My coworkers all work towards the same goal
They really care and focus on diversity.
The most positive thing at work are my peers.
Teamwork and effective communication are very good
That they invest in their employees, that we are given every opportunity to grow. There are many ways to go about professional development and the management is hands on with coaching and interacting with planning and evaluation.
Care about the people and provide written reviews that are specific and place people where they can shine
Review from Customer Support Dept
Bring outside leadership and stop the nepotism
Management is inexperienced and training is poor
Listen to employee input and more experience management
For starters it would be great if Home Office would acknowledge to the front line workers that there is an enormous staffing shortage. That would be painful, yes, but being transparent with the employees would be a step towards gaining our trust back (and we currently have very little trust).
The individuals who interviewed me.
They asked many fair and intelligent questions
Campus visit and interact with employees
It was a Quick process
Easy process, anyone can get in
More information about Amica company politics
Less interviews and more explanation of the expectations
Review from Customer Support Dept
Providing world class customer service
Helping customers in times of need
When I'm able to give the customers what they want on one phone call
Doing a good job for our customers!
My coworkers are the only thing that makes going to work okay.
The rates are so high everyone is cancelling
The insurance premiums are outrageously high and not competive. The executive office does not care about the lower level employees well being or the policyholders. They only care about the $ the sales staff brings in so that they can justify giving themselves, the executives, higher salaries.
Change the leadership and provide managable claims workloads
Replace senior leadership with competent management
Inexperienced management who won't listen to feedback
