For starters it would be great if Home Office would acknowledge to the front line workers that there is an enormous staffing shortage. That would be painful, yes, but being transparent with the employees would be a step towards gaining our trust back (and we currently have very little trust).
Trust your employees. Modernize everything. Allow more work from home and understand that showing your employees trust will go further than controlling them ever will. Invest in CIS/IT.
Nothing will change in CIS until there is a regime change in CIS exec leadership.
More emphasis on engagement and recognizing a job well done.
