They are very supportive and good

The fact that we are kept in the loop, as a company staff is great.
They are open and learning at all times. While there are managers at every level, all employees are treated equally and input is valued across the organization.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Nice package for my location
The Salary is the best part
It's tough to pick one aspect of it. I'm well compensated and there are incentives as well but the health insurance is the icing on the cake.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As an engineer would be great if, they were other benefits aside just the monthly pay
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everybody tries to do their best
Like minded individuals, with diverse background and expertise, working as one team, no silos
We understand the goal, and go straight to the point when we need to. We have fun when its time to have fun.
Most, if not all, meetings have an agenda and none are longer than they should be. They're almost entirely productive (no team is productive 100% of the time!) and I get something out of each one.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The great people I work with
I find the flexibility to be the most positive aspect
Diversity and inclusion is HUGE at Andela. As is the expectation that everyone is open and learning from one another. To me, this is the catalyst for innovation and makes it a positive and encouraging place to work.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?

The clarity around the process, the job and future expectations
The one on one interview, it was straight forward and was asked questions relevant to my day to day work
The interview team was very friendly and understanding

Feeling connected and empowered to suceed
I show up every day knowing I am valued, respected and empowered to succeed
Knowing that, I'm not being micro managed
Being surrounded by positive, inspiring people and Andela has no shortage of that!
