What do you like best about the leadership team?
They believe that I am doing the best I can and that they understand I can handle a heavy workload.
Mentorship, autonomy and availability for development
Everyone works well with each other, if someone needs support we're all willing to pitch in

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to our customers and front line employees.
Strategy, empowerment, their own accountability,
Defining the long term objective of Anritsu, the employees and customers. Then, follow thru should not be left on the table.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Room for growth and flexibility

The compensation is allocated fairly
Prompt reimbursement for expenses incurred
It's a solid package with a commission portion based on performance.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
During the July layoff, when my department was affected, in an effort to stay prepared for my family, I begin to look for positions for jobs I am currently holding at Anritsu. I was heartbroken to discover I'm $35K lower. Am I getting equal pay? I've should have demonstrated my loyalty by now....

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Their attitude. They should try other peoples jobs temporarily.
They need to respect your position, embrace it, and work with you to win the deal. Ask questions if they do not understand. And lately, enter the conversation and leave it with a "Positive Vibe".
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are all doing the best we can.

Listen to customers and have more of a sense for the market.
Management accountability, strategy direction, broader product portfolio, company structure
Regular cadence to new product releases. Focus on product leadership in some categories with communication to the company on what products will have this focus.

What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with team, breaking down silos
Getting customers taken care of and solving problems
getting to interact with clients and seeing what different technologies they're working on
Providing value and solutions to customers
working side by side with terrific people
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My perception is there is a quarter to quarter (even a month to month) existence in the management team. Things are tough but sometimes sh_t happens and goals aren't met. Keep it positive.
Poor strategy, unclear direction, outdated structure, lack of products
It's very difficult to disengage from work in off hours or on holiday. Working to resolve issues with Division or MBD is very difficult due to archaic processes and constant quote approval requirements. Most customer facing roles have a harder time working internally than they have with customers
Sales is steering the ship blindly. Experienced people should be manageing.
