Applied Materials Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Good benefits and bonuses opportunities

Annual bonus is a plus

good package no issue for me

Salary with bonus components and shares

Stock growth and annual bonus

Base comp is very competitive

Competitive with most similar companies

Stock and bonus are excellent

it is fair and balanced

Review from Operations Dept

Profit sharing and end of year bonuses.

Review from Operations Dept

Total comp was pretty good

Decent bonus and predictable every year.

Insurance, stock plan, time off

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

compared with companies in the same industry, compensation was just okay and with average/a little below average salary

Review from Operations Dept

based on the value i provide to the company

Managers need to be changed -- young people are not appreciated here . Old, antiquated company .

Compensation is not good compared to other semiconductor companies in Bay Area.

I don't get recognition, i am badly treated, I Deserve more.

There is little flexibility to be paid more even when working as much as 80-100 hours a week. The team I work on is so severely understaffed that we are working nearly all weekends and evenings. This is accompanied by near constant criticism from executive teams that we are not being effective.

Not happy with stock and oay

Considering the intensity of this job, pay is really really low. Look at other companies in the bay area, the salary at AMAT is a joke. You can barely make a living by working here.

Salary and stock compensation not at par with other Silicon Valley companies

Base my salary on the work I do, complexity of the support I provide, guidance I offer new hires. Allow all employees the option of working remotely from time to time.

too much work and too poor work/life balance for the money paid

Does not even provide a cost of living increase

A real raise and stock that truly shows they appreciate the work and time spent.

On average salaries are approx 20% lower than market but bonus structure is excellent
