Long hours, working weekends is common. The pay is industry standard. Employee attrition is significant because of poor work life balance and high stress conditions.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

More employees, more pay. Teams cannot both be so severely underpaid and overworked. Ideally there would be neither, both is insane.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Generally the cream rises to the top. However, there is ample room to move up when people are constantly moving to other companies.

What makes you most happy at work?

The team I work with and my manager bring me joy throughout the day. The work is challenging and provides new experiences although there is far too much with weeks regularly extending over 60 hours.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team has been through the worst together and is bonded as a result. We are nearly always aligned on a message and come together on resolutions. There is little infighting and generally we all enjoy being around one another.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

There is little flexibility to be paid more even when working as much as 80-100 hours a week. The team I work on is so severely understaffed that we are working nearly all weekends and evenings. This is accompanied by near constant criticism from executive teams that we are not being effective.
