Seth Runser is President and Chief Executive Officer of ArcBest® and serves on the company’s Board of Directors. Seth joined the company in 2007 as an ABF Freight® management trainee, progressing through key operations and leadership roles. He was named President of ABF in 2021 and President of ArcBest in August 2024, where he led with a pragmatic, people-centered approach, and guided teams through disruption while modernizing operations and strengthening customer relationships. Effective January 1, 2026, Seth became CEO of ArcBest and was appointed to the ArcBest Board of Directors.
Seth serves on the BNSF Railway Customer Advisory Board, the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Foundation Board, and the Fort Smith Regional Council. He previously served on the Arkansas Trucking Association board and as an American Trucking Associations Highway Safety Policy Committee Member. Seth holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Kent State University.
