What do you like best about the leadership team?
The impact that is given among everyone is NO diverse distinction. Work ethics and understanding given daily is great and concerns for me and all are understood as an open door.

As a "people first" company I have yet to see the people be put first in my department. They would do well to address the systemic toxicity and instead of bottom line numbers listen to what the employees are actually saying.

Need better support and tools for managing remote employees. Need a clear remote policy that includes minimum technology standards that a remote employee must have to work at Ardent. Need to make it easier/faster to acquire access and tools to do our jobs.

The IT team are the first boots on the ground when there is an aquisition or go live of a new department or building. Not one administrator or executive team member has ever complimented or acknowledged the hard work that is always put in by the IT team.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The reduced cost out of pocket medical services. Not having co-pays for most visits and a reduced cost for services makes a big difference for us.

Market Alignment: Receiving a salary that matches or exceeds the current market rate for the role and location.

Ardent salaries are not in line with the market. I would have expected that a health care company would have offered exceptional health benefits. Benefits are good but could be much better.

People that have been working for our hospital for the past 20 years are being let go or their position has been disolved to save money. We are treated like a number or treated like we are expendable and treated like a valued team member.

The compensation is quite low when compared to market value and the current economy, and the PTO benefits are also quite low compared to the industry norms. There should be higher PTO as well.

What are some of the best things about your team?
I work diligently and sometime beyond my duty and when something is done wrong, as a team, we correct one another respectfully to ensure job done correctly.

If company goals and decisions were clearer we would know what to be invested in and it would be more practical to be invested in each other. Without that, I am unsure if it is worth my emotional energy.

we don't work as a team, information is shared to some not at all. Lead gives wrong information causing errors to employees and will not take accountability but gives excuses

My team is very focused on themselves and not working as a team, they are constantly making group discussions about themselves and how busy they are but complain about being busy and the lack of change and collaboration, its frustrating.

I can't think of anything that truly stands out as being singularly positive. I do believe people are paid very fairly for the work they do and generously for the extra work they do.

Fair policies for ALL employees. Favoritism is overwhelming in this unit of the hospital. The staff is running the unit and when they don't like something they choose to get rid of the leader instead of attempting to make any changes that will help the unit.
