The managers at the Avis Budget locations need to stop focusing so much attention on the front counter and more focus on helping the outside workers get the vehicles ready to go. I feel that union politics get in the way of management effectively holding employees accountable for their actions.
There needs to be better quality control for the vehicles being rented to customers. The company is not doing the right job of properly maintaining their rental fleet. The biggest problem is the management. The employees genuinely want to make customers happy. Stop babying the front counter.
Most coworkers are great people who are trying to make a living. However, Avis Budget Group has a problem hiring people with questionable background records. They like to hire people who are either too lazy to work and people with big attitude problems. Otherwise, coworkers are great all around.
